Funding Opportunities

The Robert L. Fine Cancer Research Foundation provides focused support for early-career investigators tackling some of the most difficult challenges in pancreatic cancer. Our grants and fellowships are designed to empower bold, translational research—projects that are ambitious in scope, yet feasible within a limited timeframe. We invest in promising scientists whose work has the potential to drive discovery and lay the groundwork for future advancements in the field.

We offer two primary funding opportunities to support promising pancreatic cancer research:

  1. Grant Awards
    Supporting innovative translational projects led by Assistant and Associate Professors.
     

  2. Postdoctoral Fellowships
    Empowering early-career scientists dedicated to pancreatic cancer research.

Research Grant

Award Details

The Robert L. Fine Cancer Research Foundation will distribute 2 awards every other year to outstanding young scientists dedicated to basic and translational pancreatic cancer research. The grant is intended to support research projects that can be carried out in a short period of time with limited resources.

Postdoctoral Fellowship

Award Details

The Robert L. Fine Cancer Research Foundation will distribute one Postdoctoral Fellowship Award to an outstanding candidate in the field of pancreatic cancer research. The Fellowship is intended to support the candidate by providing a stipend and discretionary funds.
